Global Citizen Week Presents:  A Taste of Home

On Saturday March 8, 2008 Kelowna Community Resources (KCR), Host Program/Immigrant Services and the Intercultural Society of the Central Okanagan (ISCO) will host their third ethnic food and entertainment event in conjunction with Global Citizen Week.

This event is a celebration of our culturally diverse community.

The evening will include a variety of ethnic food prepared by local cultural groups as well as entertainment for the whole family.

This third annual “A Taste of Home” event is open to the public, and will run from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the New Life Auditorium in Kelowna. Admission to the event is free and food tickets for sample size servings are $1 each. Any extra money, above event costs will go back into immigrant serving agencies in the Okanagan.

Come out on Saturday March 8, 2008 to "A Taste of Home" and taste food from countries such as Jamaica, Hungary, Korea and the Philippines. We hope to see you there!
